LAS VEGAS (September 11, 2013) – World-class gaming and hospitality professional services provider G.H.I. Solutions has completed a major project, playing a vital project management role in the recent table games launch at Twin River Casino in Rhode Island.

Beginning in early April and continuing through the grand opening in mid-June 2013, G.H.I. Solutions provided crucial comprehensive project management service to Twin River Casino. The broad range of services G.H.I. provided to Twin River included creating a project management office and providing strategic project management resources for the coordination of more than 30 vendors for the installation and deployment of more than 60 table games.

G.H.I. worked closely with Twin River’s in-house IT department to ensure project plans, project managers, critical milestones and project dependencies were documented and aligned. As part of that close working relationship, G.H.I. provided strategic oversight and risk management to facilitate the escalation issues that may have impacted the planned grand opening schedule.

Additionally, G.H.I. worked with Twin River and various regulatory agencies, including the Rhode Island Lottery which operates the facility, to coordinate and confirm final systems testing and approval of new policies and procedures for the table game launch.

After the table games launch, the property noted that G.H.I. Solutions worked diligently and that the preparation and follow through made the go-live look easy.

“We had the opportunity to work with a wide range of the Twin River staff and leadership team, from the physical plant (electrical, carpentry, surveillance, building a new cage) to coordinating training for the dealers and pit personal to the cage, audit, and compliance staff. From top to bottom, every employee we interacted with was a true professional, and helped to make our jobs easier, and we are grateful for their dedication,” said Senior Consultant, Steve Kompst, PMP.

G.H.I. Solutions President Claudia Winkler said, “We were honored to be able to support Twin River Casino with the key resources and expertise for a very successful table games launch at the state operated facility. Their team was incredible to work with, and we know we have helped set them up for success, and we wish them well.”
