LAS VEGAS (November 6, 2012) – BNP Media is pleased to announce that Claudia Winkler, President, G.H.I. Solutions, will serve as Content Director for Gaming Technology Conference, which is to be held at the Green Valley Ranch here March 12‐13, 2013.
Gaming Technology Conference will be produced by Casino Journal, previously co‐producer of the Gaming Technology Summit at the same venue from 2003‐2012. Gaming Technology Conference is the sole conference in the gaming industry to offer a comprehensive view of technology’s present and future impacts on commercial and tribal casinos, video lotteries, racetrack gaming and online gaming. Special focus on this year’s event will be given to the strategic use of technology to achieve marketing goals in an increasingly competitive environment.

Winkler has been a force in business technology since 1988, and she has held key marketing and technology positions with the industry’s top names including Boyd Gaming, Caesars Entertainment and Station Casinos. Among her many accomplishments was the launch of the original Harrah’s Gold Card (now Harrah’s Total Rewards), development of the requirements for corporate‐wide source systems for Boyd Gaming, IT leadership role in the change of control of the Las Vegas Hilton from Caesars Entertainment to Colony Capital and the opening of several new casinos in emerging markets.
As a technology professional, Winkler possesses extensive experience in gaming and hospitality system requirements, database design, system selection and project management. She is a recognized expert in customer relationship management system design and implementation. As a subject matter expert across multiple technology areas and business functions, Winkler makes recommendations regarding technology, architectural and application development issues. She has been responsible for developing the selection criteria for major system decisions as well as identifying competent vendors.
Winkler has directed the development and deployment of custom and packaged software and business intelligence solutions on a variety of platforms including Microsoft Windows and iSeries /AS 400 environments. G.H.I. Solutions, her consulting practice, focuses on providing customized solutions to meet the critical business needs of her clients.
Topics at Gaming Technology Conference will include online and mobile marketing; predictive analytics; relationship building via gaming and non‐gaming technology touch points; business intelligence; Internet gaming; social media and cloud computing.
